Re: low playback vol

using win 7, played your midi file, i made no changes to vol. if i set my vol to 50% i can hear near zero on musette ... 25% was a subjective evaluation, the midi file 'seemed' louder. when i use win 7 media player i hear selections fine but i always use 100% vol.

can't leave 2nd post

if one tries to leave a new post for a new topic after responding
to a earlier posting, the machine blocks with a message that says "can't make a posting so soon" ... this seems illogical

browsers gives error msg from posting page

when making a posting, clkng on "submit" yields a page from the browers which says can't do it , but in fact the posting is made .. returning to the original page and clkng "submit" again yields the desired results -- but now there is a duped posting :?:

notes that sound when placed and more

is it possible to sound the note while placing it, instead of having to place the note and the clk score>play? 8)

it is written in help menu : "... change the pitch as well. Now click on a beam to highlight" --- is very confusing ... what is a beam? :?:

Re: staves and braces

I do not agree usage of "staves" is common in US ... the much more common plural of "staff" is "staffs", unless I have been mishearing all these years ... " "Staves" is the plural of staff. "Brace" refers to 2 or more staves connected and played together" !!!! if so then "brace" is just 2 or...

Re: staves and braces

the phrase "staff object" is not clear ... the words "brace" and "stave" should clearly defined in help menu ... I have been in music all my life and did not know these words
