Moving lyrics vertically.

HI, I have just written a piece of music and am now adding the lyrics. In the earlier versions of musette it was possible to select "Move All" (F9), and one could move a line of lyrics vertically as well as horizontally. It seems that the new version does not allow you to move the line vertically - ...

New computer, new download.

Hi, I signed up with you about two years ago and bought the Consort Edition. I have just bought a new computer and need to re-install Musette on the shiny new machine. I have just downloaded the latest version as specified in your recent email. Will this have the Consort features or will I have to d...

Re: Multiple "SING" lines between staves do not format corre

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I guessed that it was related to the attachment of the words to the nearest stave. I even tried being clever and attaching different verse lines to the lower stave but it didn't seem to resolve the problem.

Multiple "SING" lines between staves do not format correctly

Hi, I am transcribing some music into Musette for use by the choir of which I am a member. I have two staves set up to record the music, the upper stave for the Soprano and alto and the lower stave for the tenor and bass. I have left sufficient space between the two staves to record the words associ...

Re: Can I make one part in a mult-part tune play louder?

Thanks for those suggestions, I'll give them a go.

By the way, how long do the fortissimo and pianissimo controls (ff and pp, etc) persist for?

Can I make one part in a mult-part tune play louder?

I am writing tunes for our local choir, in which I sing, and most tunes have four different staves, one each for Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. On completion of the writing I transfer the tunes to CD and distribute the CDs among the choir members. I would like to make a particular voice, Soprano, Al...

A pointer-only icon in the Draw windows

Hi, When I am writing musical score I almost always have Draw/All selected as this gives me all the facilities I need - well, nearly all. There are time when I want just the pointer for dragging around notes, etc. Fine, I select Draw/None and I have just the pointer, exactly as I want. But this caus...

Chorded triplets do not play in Score/Play

I am currently writing the tenor part for a choral version of "The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves". This involves a number of triplets - No problem, these are easy to set up in the consort version. I also need to set up triplets using chords (two notes per chord, three chords per triplet), again - no p...
