Now I see what's going on. The program counts the bar lines which of course doesn't count the measures. There is though an exception and that is if you numerate the first bar line as "2" then yes the measure numbers and the bar line numbers synchronize. But that's the only numeration that will do th...

That would be nice, but ... they sure aren't. Please see attachment. The program numerates the second measure of each staff.

Numeration of Measure Numbers is Strange

Measure numbers start on the second measure and are numerated only every 4 measures after that. For example 2, 6, 10, 14, etc. Is this a bug, a corruption in my computer, or by design? And if by design, why such a series? Why not 1, 5, 9, etc. or better yet 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.?
