Re: Validation / Save Settings File
Thanks. I'll recheck the setup procedure. If you wish, you can copy everything from c:\users\First Last\Musette\ to c:\users\username\Musette\ and delete c:\users\First Last\Musette\. Menu "File/Example Files" will look in c:\users\username\Musette\

Re: Printing my first chart
That's what I needed. Thanks. It looks like you're using a network printer, or perhaps a wireless printer that appears as a network printer. It should work but I haven't tested that recently. For a temporary fix while I'm working on duplicating the problem, you can try selecting "XPS document w...

Re: Printing my first chart
We'll find a solution. I appreciate your cooperation. In Musette, click the "Help" menu. Look for "Help forum". If it's not there, please upgrade. You'll also get some new features. Load a file and click "File/Print". Click "Help forum". You'll see information...

Re: Printing my first chart
You don't need to upgrade just to print. If you're not using the latest version, download and install V2.11.4. Click menu "Help/Help forum". Copy the information and post here. It includes important information about musette, windows and your default printer.

Re: larger Coda
You can enter any symbol as text, and change the font size. Choose the musette font and enter small letter 'j' for the coda symbol. Experimental version 2.11.3 available for download from http://musettemusic.com/beta.php can optionally play repeats, DS, DC and coda. It can only play a coda entered w...

Re: lost fonts when reloaded Musette
Vera, Check your c:\windows\fonts folder to see which fonts are installed. There might be something close enough you can switch to. If your old computer still starts, you can copy the fonts to the new computer. If not, search the internet for the font. There might be something you can download and i...

Re: Multiple "SING" lines between staves do not format corre
Steven, I can't think of a direct workaround. As long as you use "tab" to advance to the next note, each verse will stay vertically aligned which is what "Format/Lyrics" does. I'll add this to the list of improvements for a future version. The only other comment I have is that ly...

Re: The handle is invalid
genierose, First lets recheck the installation. Remove the current version with Windows Control Panel. Just to be safe, download MusSetup.exe again from http://musettemusic.com/download.php and install. If that doesn't fix it, click Musette menu "File/Example Files". Choose file types &quo...

Re: Can I make one part in a mult-part tune play louder?
The current version of Musette ignores ff, pp and other dynamics during playback. This will likely change in a future version. If you mean how long a choir maintains the current dynamic level, usually until it changes. If other members of your choir have windows computers, you could email the musett...

Re: Can I make one part in a mult-part tune play louder?
Steve, The current version of Musette doesn't "play" dynamics but there are a couple possibilities. Select a distinctive instrument for the highlighted part and a different instrument for all other parts. The "Multiple Parts and Braces" section of the "Features/Staves and Br...

Re: Numeration of Measure Numbers is Strange
Thanks for posting the image. It shows the measure numbers on the first bar line which precedes the second measure. More measure number options are planned for future versions, but for now your only choice is "on" or "off". It looks like you're using an old version. V2.10.10 is a...
