Writing music for drums.

Post by Ovidiu » Tue Mar 08, 2011 2:38 am

Is there the possibility to use specific notes for drums, instead of classical ones?

Ovidiu,

The current version of Musette does not directly support other types of note heads. You can enter almost anything as text anywhere in the staff. The included musette font does have other note heads which can be entered as characters or text by selecting the musette font and the appropriate characters. Select the musette font. Hold the "Alt" key and enter a number code on the numeric keypad. Codes 0238 - 0248 are various X noteheads. The windows Character Map program can show you all the special characters available in any font.

I won't promise a specific date. The next release is nearly done and will not include the X noteheads.
