Chorded triplets do not play in Score/Play

I am currently writing the tenor part for a choral version of "The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves".
This involves a number of triplets - No problem, these are easy to set up in the consort version. I also need to set up triplets using chords (two notes per chord, three chords per triplet), again - no problem, quite easy to set up. However, when I select Score from the menu line and Play from the drop-down menu all of the tune plays with the exception of the triplets of chords!
The triplets of single notes play correctly, but the triplet of chords does not play at all. There is a hiatus in the music equivalent to the length of the triplet of chords, but no sound.
Any suggestions?
