notes that sound when placed and more

Post by rommusette » Wed Dec 24, 2014 10:28 am

is it possible to sound the note while placing it, instead of having to place the note and the clk score>play? 8)

it is written in help menu : "... change the pitch as well. Now click on a beam to highlight" --- is very confusing ... what is a beam? :?:

Clicking menu "Setup/Sound" toggles a check mark. When checked, notes sound when placed, clicked, or moved.

Beams (sometimes called ligatures) are briefly explained in the "More Information/Music Notation" section of the help file, but there should be an example. You can see examples at http://piano.about.com/od/musicaltermsa ... e-beam.htm I found this and many other references by searching for "music note beam".
