I just have the free program, since I'm just checking out this kind of stuff. But, I wanted to save what I was working on, and the "save" in the file menu is light gray meaning it is not an option. Is this because it is the free program?

I noticed I was having the problem after I started using a lot of the features.

You can't save in "Demo" mode. Exit the program, restart and you can create and save files within the limits of the Solo Edition.
