I am using Version 2.6.3 on WinXP. I typeset some music while using the trial version. Then I retypeset using the paid version, reformatting line by line, converting the single-staff music to double-treble-clef staff music (so instead of both violins' notes being on the same lines, they are on separate, but grouped, lines). The software inserted a "Part 1" title on the new music.

Is there some way to get rid of the part title?

Also, is there some way to resize the music or to set up print formatting? I would like the music to print out as larger than it currently is: my eyes aren't so good, and I need to be able to read this past the violin.

Thank you.

Eliz.

stapel,

The help file explains changing the titles and resizing the staff using "Setup/Draw" after selecting the topmost staff/brace. You can't actually remove the part name or leave it completely blank, but you could change it to a single space or another unobtrusive character.

I'd tried that, but I tried again, clicking "Replace" rather than "OK", and this time it worked.

Thank you.
