Help us help you

Help us help you by using this message board for help. Free software depends in part on users sharing and contributing. Beginners can share questions, and as they gain experience, can also share solutions. Before asking for help here, check the Musette Download site to make sure you have the latest version of Musette. Check Musette's online help and look for relevant messages here. Many people will do their best to help, but the quality of the answer partially depends on the quality of the question. Click menu "Help/help forum". Copy the information to your post and attach the log file. Tell us exactly what you were trying to do when the problem occurred (menu selections, keypresses, mouse clicks, etc.) What did you expect to happen? What actually happened? What error or status messages did you see? Additional information may get you the help you need in less time. Do the sample files distributed with Musette work? Did you use the installation program in MusSetup.exe, or did you install it yourself using MusUnzip.exe? Did it ever work? If so, what changed? Do related functions or operations work?
To post a question, you must be registered and logged in. Once you're viewing the help forum, select "new topic". If you also select "Track this topic", you'll receive an e-mail when someone replies. Registered members may attach files with the "add reply" option.
Click "add reply" to respond to someone else's question, or add more information to your own. As a courtesy to others, once your problem is solved, please add a reply so everyone knows the matter is closed.
Your e-mail address remains hidden from everyone. You can only be contacted indirectly through your user name. Click the "Members" button to see how this works :)
