How do I write music for Bb trumpet and other transposing instruments?

Enter the notes as you want them to look on the page. If you have the consort edition, right-click on the staff and select "Setup/Draw". Use the "MIDI" transpose slider to transpose playback (down 2 halfsteps for a Bb trumpet).
