cant open files

attempt open musette files, but get msg 'not a musette file'. but it is.

I attached a screenshot of what I see when I load it in Musette version 2.12.8. The file might not open with older versions. In Musette, click menu "Help/About" and make sure you're using version 2.12.8. You can download the latest version from http://musettemusic.com/download.php

If you're already using v2.12.8, I suggest downloading and reinstalling in case something got corrupted.

you were right to suggest an redownload of mus 12.8 ... that eliminated the files not opening ... thanx for taking the time to look at my problem
