Re: Block Markers and playing the score

Selections are limited to a single staff or brace. Selecting multiple objects is on the to-do list.

Re: Staff Size

You probably did it right. It should print as you intended. Try printing to a pdf file as a test. Musette keeps the screen staff height the same for ease of editing, but the staff length changes proportionally. As you make the notes bigger, fewer notes fit on a line, making the line appear shorter o...

Re: Repeats

Hi Paddy, You did everything correctly. The usual convention following DC or DS is to omit repeats. I'll look at adding a configuration option in a future version to play repeats following DC or DS. For now, a possible workaround would be to duplicate each section with copy and paste and omit the re...

Re: low playback vol

If you set the volume to 100% using Windows Volume Mixer, is the volume acceptable for both Musette and midi files played with Media Player?

Re: low playback vol

I did a test on my computer running windows 7 using the setup shown in the attached image. I loaded example file AntMarch.mus in Musette and antmarch.mid in Windows Media Player. Using Windows Volume Mixer, I set both volumes to 50% and alternated playing the Musette and midi file. With this setup, ...

Re: low playback vol

In Windows, right-click the speaker icon on the right side of Window's taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Select "Volume Mixer" and adjust the Volume Mixer window so you can see all the volume sliders. Check the "speaker" volume setting, usually the first volume slider on the left. The volume slid...

Re: cant open files

Thanks for the file. I attached a screenshot of what I see when I load it in Musette version 2.12.8. The file might not open with older versions. In Musette, click menu "Help/About" and make sure you're using version 2.12.8. You can download the latest version from http://musettemusic.com/download.p...

Re: Additional symbols - fermata (pause) symbol

If you've upgraded to the consort edition, the fermata is last symbol in the "accidentals" green toolbar. Display it with menu "Draw/Accidentals", or F5. The "Draw/All" tool window also includes a fermata. After choosing the "fermata" from the green toolbar, click on a notehead, and slide the fermat...

Re: notes that sound when placed and more

Clicking menu "Setup/Sound" toggles a check mark. When checked, notes sound when placed, clicked, or moved. Beams (sometimes called ligatures) are briefly explained in the "More Information/Music Notation" section of the help file, but there should be an example. You can see examples at http://piano...

I just change board settings to allow multiple postings without waiting. A test post seemed OK. Perhaps this problem will also be fixed. Please post again if you still have problems.
